Police Officer Luke Markiewicz, Town of Goshen Police
His refusal to take report sets off a destructive chain of events
[dropcap]O[/dropcap]n December 9, 2011 my wife attempted to jump out of my truck while we were driving with our children. She then attempted to rip my daughter from her car seat. I asked her to calm down but she refused. I drove home and dropped my wife off and rushed with my children to the Town of Goshen Police Station. I attempted to report the attempted drowning incident but Officer Luke Markiewicz refused stating that it seemed like retaliation. I pleaded with him to take the report to no avail. He did however take the report concerning my wife’s bizarre behavior. This was the first report I successfully made to the police. When my wife found out I made the report she made a false allegation the following day. All of sudden, one day after I submitted an incident report and made a verbal report of her attempted murder, she then alleged I was suicidal, crazy and had a substance abuse problem. To this date she has never filed a report against me for child abuse. All of her allegations have been that I have physically hurt her or have a mental illness. To this date, there are no police reports, hospital reports eyewitnesses or photos of her allegations. All that exists are her testimony. I have no history of mental illness, suicide attempts and nor does anyone in my family.
