Jurema Laboy Padilla’s Retaliation: False allegation 1 (Fails)
The Beginning of a Long History of False Allegations and Retaliation.
[dropcap]A[/dropcap]fter Jurema Laboy Padilla goes into a fit of rage the husband takes the children to a family member’s house for 24 hours.
After agreeing to calm down and wait until Mr. Padilla returns with the children the following morning, she then went to Bronx Family court and made false allegations that amount to kidnapping. She falsely states in a Petition for Custody (a sworn written statement), File # 119473, Docket # V-16911-10 and V-16912-10, that the father, “Took the children from the home and has threatened to take them to Puerto Rico. Resp. Has already purchased plane tickets. Petr. Requests sole custody of the children because she does not want them taken out of the country.”
She also states falsely in the same petition that “Petr. Is unaware of the children’s current location.” She knew that Mr. Padilla and the children were in the home of the paternal aunt. She was told that they were there and she called the home land line to speak with both Mr. Padilla and Norma Velez. Norma Velez has testified to this in a recorded statement and Police Officer Victor Benitez, Jr. of the NYPD, an intimate friend of Jurema Laboy Padilla, who acted on her behalf, off-duty, can testify to this as well as he also spoke with the father on the phone and was also told the location of the children.
These plane tickets were indeed purchased for a family vacation. Jurema Laboy also had a ticket for the same flight. See document below which was submitted as evidence for identification on December 19, 2011, Respondent’s Exhibit D 12/19/11 I.D. . She lied and tried to misrepresent the facts and make it seem as if Mr. Padilla had just purchased the tickets for the sole purpose of kidnapping the children. Furthermore, Puerto Rico is part of this country.
Below is the receipt for the airline tickets that were purchased on June, 17 2010. This was a family vacation paid for by the paternal grandmother and Jurema Laboy Padilla had already planned to take this flight.
The father appeared in court with the receipt and informed Jurema Padilla that he would present the ticket receipt in the court proceeding proving that she was making false allegations. Jurema Laboy Padilla appeared in court and immediately dropped the false charges and petition. On June 24, 2010 she went with the father and children to Puerto Rico as originally planned.
