[dropcap]O[/dropcap]n November 25, 2011 I witnessed Jurema Laboy Padilla trying to drown her own son when he was nine months old. I intervened and he is still alive today. I reported this to Officer Luke Markiewicz of Goshen Town Police but he refused to write a formal report. Instead he offered me legal advice. He did in fact take a lesser report. When Jurema Laboy Padilla found out that I reported this to the police she retaliated with false allegations against me stating I was crazy and suicidal. She managed to manipulate the system for a short while.
This is a legally recorded conversation with her. This conversation was recorded in the Bronx, NY while both parties to the conversation were physically in the state of New York. New York is a one party consent state. This means that only one party is required to consent to the recording. This recording was submitted as evidence in court and was played before Judge Debra J. Kiedaisch, Cheryl Maxim and Bernard Brady, Esg..
In this recording she admits to hurting her own children out of anger toward her husband and refuses to stop the abuse.
This is not the evidence for the attempted murder against her own son but is does reveal her character as a mother and her refusal to take responsibility for her criminal behavior. This conversation occurred a little more than one year before the drowning attempt.
A copy of this recording was also given to Leah Horroveots, Rosemary Wilkkomm and Joe LaSusa all of Child Protective Services in Orange County NY. Leah Horroveots and Rosemary Wilkkomm both refused to listen to the recording when they invited me to their office to give them copies of my evidence. Recordings of those refusals will be posted soon.
Jurema Laboy Padilla is currently working as a psychiatric nurse at Martin County State Prison through a contract from Geo Care. She is also a girl scout troop leader in Stuart, Florida and serves on the PTA at Pinewood Elementary in Stuart, Florida. She is also an ordained elder through the Reformed Church of America.

NOTICE:
The purpose of this website, the information provided and "The Adventures of Highwaychild" documentary is to present evidence of crimes and injustices committed against the children and families mentioned. It is the hope of Hodos Pictures, LLC that shedding light on these facts would lead to legal justice for these innocent children. This case is about crimes committed against innocent children and not about a marital dispute. It also important to note that mothers, pastors, police officers, judges, lawyers and social services employees have in fact committed crimes in the past and have been prosecuted and incarcerated for their crimes. There are women's prisons and there is a significant population of ex-pastors, ex-police officers, ex-attorneys, ex-judges and ex-government employees in prison. Holding a position of authority comes with a higher level of responsibility and accountability.
From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked.

But if you show favoritism, you sin and are convicted by the law as lawbreakers.
