Police Officer Luke Markiewicz, Town of Goshen Police
His refusal to take report sets off a destructive chain of events
[dropcap]O[/dropcap]n December 9, 2011 wife attempted to jump out of my truck while we were driving with our children. She then attempted to rip my daughter from her car seat. I asked her to calm down but she refused. I drove home and dropped my wife off and rushed with my children to the Town of Goshen Police Station. Luke Markiewicz refused to take my report of my wife attempting to drown my 9 month old son. Markiewicz stated to me that my report looked like retaliation. However, he did in fact take my report of my wife jumping out of my SUV and trying to rip my daughter out of the vehicle. My wife denied this at first but later admitted to it in her Florida petition for injunction on April 13, 2015. Markiewicz checked off that there was a previous “domestic violence” call. This was my wife’s call to the station to discredit my report before I arrived at station. She admitted to this call in her Florida Injunction. Markiewicz did not call CPS when he should have. Police Officers are mandated reporters of child abuse or suspected abuse. To this date, there are no police reports, hospital reports eyewitnesses or photos of her allegations. All that exists are her testimony. I have no history of mental illness, suicide attempts and nor does anyone in my family.
